Jake Archer is about to return from winter testing in Spain. Unfortunately, his track time on the Team Kovara Projects Moto2 machine was curtailed early on after a crash at the circuit in Almeria.
An injury to his left collarbone left him unable to ride meaning he had to sit out the second test at Cartagena.
Archer returns to the UK on Monday and will see the trauma specialist Brian Simpson of the Pysiotherapy Health centre in Ipswich. Simpson is well-known for treating high speed trauma and fractures suffered by motorcycle racers. The Andover riders treatment will then include hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Despite this setback Archer is expected to be fit again for the first official BSB test at Silverstone in three weeks time.
