Jason Dupasquier, the young Swiss rider, has renewed with H43 Team to ride once more in the Moto3 Junior World Championship.

The 17-year-old, from Sorens, finished his rookie Moto3 JWC season in 29th position. However, he was unable to show his real ability at this level. At the second round in Valencia he crashed in the first race after qualifying ninth. He broke his left femur. It wrecked his season as he didn’t return to the Moto3 JWC until the penultimate round at Albacete.

He had also been invited to race in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Unfortunately, his injury meant he didn’t compete.

In 2016 he won the ADAC North European Cup title. When he was younger he had a successful national career in Supermoto after getting on his first motocross bike at the age of five. When your father was fourth in the world motocross championship at one time and is the sales and motosport manager for KTM Switzerland, it is easy to see from where Dupasquier gets his interest in motorcycles.
