The British Talent Cup starts this weekend on the National circuit at Silverstone. The riders will be hoping the weather for the first round is better than last year. In 2018 Donington Park played host to round one and the second race had to be cancelled due to torrential rain.
The National circuit at Silverstone is 1.639 miles (3.619 km) long with six turns. The riders follow the full circuit through Copse before doubling back at Maggots onto the Wellington Straight. They then head to Brooklands, around Luffield and Woodcote back to the finish line. You can see the calendar here.
The 23 young British and Irish hopefuls will be fighting it out over six rounds for the title of British Talent Cup Champions 2019. The riders will compete at Donington Park, Snetterton, Brno in the Czech Republic and then on the Silverstone GP circuit during the season.
