County Durham’s Charlie Farrer competed in the first ever British Talent Cup championship in 2018. He finished the year in 18th place and showed enough ability to be invited back for 2019.
During the 2018 season he also raced a very different machine in the British Superstock 600 championship.
In 2017 he competed in the Team Green Junior Cup and the Thundersport Superteens Championship.
He won both championships in convincing style. Riding a Kawasaki Ninja 300 in both series he scored 601 points in the Team Green Junior Cup run by Bemsee. That put him 80 points clear of the rider in second.
In the Thundersport Superteen series he finished with 582 points, which meant he took the title with a lead of 119 over the runner-up.
Farrer is one of the older riders in the British Talent Cup.
