The number 52 of the LaGlisse Academy left Valencia having stood on the podium in the first race before going on to finish sixth in race two.

After problems at the start of race one, Alcoba recovered and was in a group of six riders fighting for the podium. He managed to secure second place after a classic overtaking move on the final corner of the Ricardo Tormo circuit.

In the second race Alcoba was in the hunt for a rostrum throughout the entire race. Going into the final corner he had used his experience and got himself into third position. However, another rider came into contact with him which relegated him to sixth as they crossed the finish line.

After just two rounds the championship is obviously still very close. Jeremy Alcoba has 41 points and is fourth overall. He is only four behind the championship leader Yuki Kunii.
