FPW Racing have formally announced their all-new rider line up for 2019 British Motostar season.
For next season the talented American Brandon Paasch joiuns Adrian Mason’s team along with young British rider Jamie Davis.
Paasch has already raced in the British Motostar series. Last season he rode for Mahindra Cresswell Racing on a GP Moto3 finishing fifth. The rider managed three fourth places before an injury meant he missed the final round of the season. He still ended 2018 in fifth overall. He narrowly missed out on a podium at Thruxton, after being penalised in a coming together with another rider a couple of corners from the end.
For the coming season Paasch will ride a factory KTM 2018 EVO RC250 Moto3 for the FPW Racing team. The team have already organised some pre-season testing just after Christmas. For now, Paasch is continuing his recovery in Florida.
Davis is the other new rider joining the team. Although from East Grinstead in West Sussex the rider has spent most of his career racing in Spain. Last season he rode the majority of the year for Mark Keen’s KRP Team in the European Talent Cup. Jamie Davis also took part in the first ever British Talent Cup championship finishing 15th overall. He was invited back for a second year in 2019.
Davis will need to learn the peculiarities of the British circuits as well as the GP Moto3 bike having ridden the standard last season.
Adrian Mason is confident about the season ahead and the ability of both his new riders:
