Go Pink Racing rider Jodie Fieldhouse was involved in an incident with another rider on the final corner of the Brands Hatch circuit in race two last Sunday. As a result, she crashed out of the race whilst running fifth. She was devastated as it would have been her best finish in the Hel Performance British Motostar championship.

Unfortunately for Fieldhouse, not only did she lose a valuable eleven championship points but she said the impact of the other rider making contact with her broke her right arm. The resulting crash from the collision led to a broken knuckle on her left hand and a black eye.

She is waiting to have an operation and a plate put in her arm but thinks it won’t be until August at the earliest that she will be back on a bike.

It was a very disappointing way to end her racing weekend after she took nine points from the first race.
